Green Standard
The “Green Standard Sustainability Program™” is designed to assist stadiums and public venues to quantify their environmental programs in recycling, water conservation, waste reduction and other areas. Venues that qualify receive the “Green Standard” designation.

The program defines areas of focus and provides recommendations based on EPA-approved guidelines and best practices. The “Green Standard” is an ongoing program with annual assessments assuring that a venue maintains the “Green Standard” requirements.

Green Standard

Cash for Cups™ is an innovative program for recycling styrene beverage cups in stadiums and other performance venues. Under this program, A Greener Solution works with the food service provider and its cup supplier to ensure recyclable cups are used.

Customers purchasing beverages pay a 25-cent deposit which is refunded when the cup is returned to an on-site Cash for Cups™ reverse vending machine. The cups collected through this patented process are then recycled, substantially reducing solid waste and landfill costs.
