On top of our game

At one of the few ball games the Chicago White Sox lost during their 2005 drive to the World Series championship, a winning match was made. Neal Gutkin, an experienced expert in waste management, couldn’t help overhearing the business conversation between plastics recycling executives Bob Render and David Kaplan, who happened to be sitting in front of him. They talked, they clicked, they saw an opportunity and, well, the rest is history.

The three spearheaded the creation of A Greener Solution to help manufacturers improve their bottom lines by reducing waste volume and costs, and increasing recycling volume and value. The company continues to grow rapidly by delivering measurable benefits including increased recycling rates, increased rebate revenue, lower landfill costs and reduced waste hauling costs.
