Established in 1983, Maine Plastics processes more than 140 million pounds of scrap annually. The company operates a 222,500 square foot headquarters facility in Zion, IL, and 10 fully secure plants strategically located across the country. Each plant follows rigorous quality control procedures and utilizes state-of-the-art technology to assure quality, increase yield and reduce costs.

Through Maine Plastics, A Greener Solution provides clients with a full range of value-enhancing processing capabilities including sorting, baling, grinding, wet grinding, shredding, cross docking/warehousing, air and density separation, metal removal, fine separation, densifying, blending, pelletizing and compounding/color matching.
